Savory Vegetable Smoothie

 

When you don’t want something sweet. A fun way to down some vegetables. Reminiscent of V-8 juice, but better. It doesn’t get any easier.

Adjust the spices and sauces to taste. Use organic as much as possible.

Savory Vegetable Smoothie

  • Servings: 2
  • Difficulty: so easy

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz tomato
  • 1 oz carrot
  • 1 oz celery
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 oz celery
  • 1/8 sweet pepper
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/4 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 t salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 3 stems parsley (or 1/2 t dried)
  • 1 dash hot sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 cup water

 

Directions:

  1. Put ingredients into Nutribullet or other strong blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.

Makes 2 servings.
