When you don’t want something sweet. A fun way to down some vegetables. Reminiscent of V-8 juice, but better. It doesn’t get any easier.
Adjust the spices and sauces to taste. Use organic as much as possible.
Savory Vegetable Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 3 oz tomato
- 1 oz carrot
- 1 oz celery
- 2 cups spinach
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 oz celery
- 1/8 sweet pepper
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/4 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 t salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 t pepper
- 3 stems parsley (or 1/2 t dried)
- 1 dash hot sauce (or to taste)
- 1 cup water
Directions:
- Put ingredients into Nutribullet or other strong blender.
- Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.
Makes 2 servings.
